Space Elevators motor elevators use motor encoders to monitor speed and position, as well as to commutate the motor. Although absolute encoders are often used for commutation, incremental elevator encoders exist targeted specifically for elevator applications. If the incremental encoder is being used to commutate, it must have separate U,V, and W channels on the code disc that enable the drive to control the U, V, and W channels of a brushless motor.

Space Elevators are two primary classes of electric elevator: the geared traction motor elevator and the gearless traction motor elevator. Geared traction motor elevators are driven by vector motors coupled to gearboxes. The gearing, in turn, drives the traction wheels or sheaves, which are grooved pulleys that move the cables that raise and lower the car. Although geared traction motor elevators are reliable, the bulky equipment must be housed in a machine room. That adds cost and occupies space.

Space Elevators take a different approach. Instead of a vector motor/gearbox combination, they use permanent-magnet DC motors coupled directly to the load. The motors tend to be larger in diameter but narrower. This pancake form factor enables them to be placed either above the elevator in the hoist way, eliminating the need for a machine room.

Fabricated Structure For Elevator

We are capable to suppliers and manufacturers of Fabricated Steel Structures for Infrastructure Projects in Bridges, Walkways, Girders, Rail Over Bridges, Foot Over Bridges, Boiler Support structures, Pipe rack structures, Chimney structures and secondary support structures for Power, Oil and Gas, Refineries, Fertilizer and Chemical and Cement Industries. We have supplied mainly primary and secondary structures fabricated from our state of the art facility from plates, channels and rolled sections to columns , bracings and hangers. We use standard sections and plates of reputed makes SAIL/Jindal/RINL/Tata Steel/Essar and have inventory of similar stock for easy delivery. Custom made columns can be assembled upto a length of 30-40 mtrs. We have mock assembled lengths of around 35-50 mtrs in our bay. We also have available space to carry mock assemblies of larger lengths. Efficient and qualified welders following approved Welding procedures of Power grid, NTPC, BHEL, NPCIL, EIL are involved in fabricating these items.
