Definition of elevator @ Space Elevators

 An elevator or lift is a system of vertical transport designed to mobilize people or goods
between different levels. It can be used either to ascend or descend in a building or an
underground construction. Complies with mechanical, electrical and electronic parts that
work together to achieve a safe means of mobility.


Two types, the electro mechanical lift and the hydraulic lift, more properly dynamic are
primarily installed. Also referred to as hydraulic lifts to systems of locks on the navigation
channels, such as the hydraulic lifts manufacturers in Delhi, India.
